3 : Real vs. Virtual Image
  • For concave mirrors, if the object is beyond twice the focal length ((2f)), the image is real and inverted. If it’s between (f) and (2f), it’s real and upright.
  • For convex mirrors, the image is always virtual, erect, and diminished.
  • These rules help identify the nature of the image quickly.
